This file provides public traceability for edition 005. It summarises recorded decisions without publishing the complete working materials. The narrative execution used methodology `1.6.1`; the public process contract remains format `1.6.0`. The governance revision in `1.6.1` did not change the narrative gates.
Scientific starting point
The source applies inverse optimisation to 70 historical plans from an eight-product plant. Given known constraints and hypothesised objectives, it learns weights that explain inventory profiles better than accounting cost alone. Avoiding shortages, maintaining ranges and keeping cycles consistent are important; some weights vary across the horizon and by product. One expert interview confirms some hypotheses and rejects others.
The source comparison recorded identity, URL, version, method, declared results, author inferences and limits. It does not reproduce the study or constitute independent scientific validation. The case comes from one plant, combines plans made by several people and only infers among proposed terms. The living mill, characters, messages and specific causal chains are fictional compositions.
Alternatives considered
Six possibilities covered five tension topologies and seven progression modes. The selected idea turned plan aggregation and unexplained stoppages into a collective voice forced to separate reasons from responsibility. The finalist placed a navigator inside the distant portion of a plan that had always been provisional; it lost because its engine could become generic survival.
The remaining ideas explored an ocean farm, a domestic legacy, a mobile city and a chorus of products. They lost through proximity to recent editions, repetition of grief and memory, a return to urban authority or overly indirect causality.
Probes and selection
Two 500–700 word probes were written. Both recorded `B1_SUPERADA` and `B2_SUPERADA`. The selected version won for scientific necessity, causal plurality and a literary wager already visible in prose: the pronoun “we” fractured as surplus, pauses and matter acquired sources.
Evaluation and rewrite
The adversarial-role evaluation returned `APROBADO_CON_CAMBIOS`. It found that the audit and six abstract plans repeated a conclusion before changing obligations, that the domestic cost arrived too late, that the climax carried too many materials and that a vote would merely create another silhouette.
One complete rewrite followed, with no redesign or candidate switch. The six plans became physical strips; the patched tank appeared before the decision; votes were replaced by signatures and consequences; and the pause remained possibly useful or unnecessary without convenient proof.
Resulting form and trace
The dominant topology is collective-epistemic with a material constraint. The mode is revelation through choral accumulation. The literary wager makes weights, silhouette, Thursdays and names change function until an averaged will becomes an attributable sequence.
All ten observable fields change: industrial-domestic colony, non-authority collective, collective-epistemic tension, choral revelation, latent clock, community-supply cost, cumulative form, disaggregation climax, accepted uncertainty and a choral-material voice. It also replaces recent limited third person with first-person plural and does not combine institutional authority, urgency and professional sacrifice.
Recorded gates
- `CF1_SUPERADA`: unreused paper and create-only claim.
- `B1_SUPERADA` and `B2_SUPERADA`: both probes showed agency, friction and significant change.
- `CC1_SUPERADA`: isolated evaluation reconstructed novum, objective, decision and cost.
- `T1_SUPERADA`: the machine requires one movement and each option produces a different cost.
- `J1_SUPERADA`: every section transforms what a plan can represent.
- `L1_SUPERADA`: the isolated cuts retained concrete expectations and the ending paid the recurring motifs.
- Bilingual QA: events, causality, ambiguity, images, scientific limits and ending match.
The isolated evaluation ran in a separate context that received only the final Spanish text. L1 describes the result of that procedure; it does not demonstrate how a real reader will respond.
Public limit
This document synthesises recorded evidence and decisions. Because the full artefacts remain private, it offers public traceability, not an independent external audit or an objective measurement of literary quality.
